Healing through Trauma-Informed Therapy and Integrative Counseling in Nova Scotia: Empowering you to overcome challenges and thrive with our comprehensive Mental Health Services.

I am the sole owner and therapist at Little Cabin Counselling, where I provide specialized mental health services to individuals aged 16 and older living in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. With specialized training in trauma-informed therapy, I address various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. As a trained social worker, my approach to therapy considers all facets of a person's experience—biological, social, psychological, and spiritual. By integrating insights from my personal lived experiences with neurodiversity and anxiety alongside my education and training, I can meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are seeking counseling in Nova Scotia for healing trauma, managing stress, anxiety, or navigating other challenging life circumstances, it is essential to me that you feel heard and understood. I will engage with you curiously about what matters most to you, incorporating those elements into the therapy process. At Little Cabin Counselling, I value a holistic approach that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. Together, we will create a goal-oriented plan that caters to your unique needs, recognizing that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
As a Registered Social Worker in New Brunswick (NBASW) and Nova Scotia (NSCSW), I offer therapy services both in-person and virtually. Since 2015, I've supported individuals on their wellness journeys in various roles. My educational credentials include a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from St. Thomas University. I began my practice as a social worker in 2019 and opened the doors to Little Cabin Counselling in 2022.
I offer a 100% free phone consultation to discuss your mental health needs and determine if we would be a good fit to work together. Contact me today to get started!
With gratitude, I acknowledge that my practice is located and my work takes place in Bedford — Kwipek — on the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, in Mi’kma’ki. I honour their ongoing care, wisdom, and enduring presence on this land.
